Titusville Area Hospital Health and Dental Clinic, is located in the former Physical Therapy building at 228 East Central Avenue in Titusville.
The expanded clinic brings together the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, three dental residents, and the existing TAH dental providers to provide comprehensive dental services. This creates a collaborative teaching environment where dental residents, dental assisting students, and dental hygiene students can work alongside experienced faculty and staff while providing high-quality care to patients.

Our team provides a full range of preventive, restorative, and comprehensive dental services, including:

- Digital X-rays and diagnostic services

A New Era of Rural Dental Care
Rural communities continue to experience significant barriers to dental care, including provider shortages, long wait times, transportation challenges, and limited access to providers accepting Medicaid or patients without dental insurance. Through the partnership with the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, Titusville Area Hospital is addressing these challenges by expanding access to quality dental care while creating a sustainable pipeline of dentists, dental hygienists, and dental assistants committed to serving rural communities. Our Health and Dental Clinic features ten dental operatories and a collaborative teaching environment where patients receive high-quality care while future dental professionals gain valuable hands-on experience.
Dental Education at Titusville Area Hospital
In addition to training dental residents, the program also provides valuable clinical education opportunities for dental hygiene and dental assisting students. Working alongside residents and experienced faculty, these students gain hands-on experience delivering preventive and supportive dental services while learning in a real-world clinical setting. This collaborative, team-based approach enhances the patient experience, expands access to care, and helps prepare the next generation of oral healthcare professionals to serve rural communities.
