Titusville Area Hospital Medical Staff Student Scholarships Announced

The Titusville Area Hospital Medical Staff recently awarded a total of $13,500 in scholarship funds to local students.

0006 Barker Charlie — Carlie Barker of Titusville is set to begin her studies to become a Physical Therapy Assistant at Pennsylvania West California this fall. A 2026 graduate of Titusville Area High School, she is the daughter of Jason and LeeAnne Barker.

0012 Beach Abbi — Abbi Beach of Spartansburg is finishing her second and final year of nursing studies at the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville. She is the daughter of Scott and Laraine Beach

0005 Cole Rebecca — Rebecca Cole is attending the University of Pittsburgh’s Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences, where she will study Biochemistry. She is the daughter of Chunling Wang of Pleasantville and a 2026 graduate of Titusville Area High School.

0003 Colwell Grace — Grace Colwell, a graduate of Pennsylvania Virtual Charter School, will attend Pennsylvania Western University, Edinboro, in the fall for Wildlife Biology and Fisheries Management. She is the daughter of Matthew and Angela Colwell of Centerville.

0011 Chatham Max — Maxson Chatham is a 2026 graduate of Titusville Area High School and the son of Tom and Monica Chatham of Titusville. Max will begin his studies in finance at Westminster College this fall.

0010 Griffin Marley — Marley Griffin, a 2026 graduate of Titusville Area High School and the daughter of Kait Sampson and Josh Griffin, will attend South College to become an X-ray technician.

0004 Hamilton Grace — Grace Hamilton of Titusville is set to begin her studies in Kinesiology at Penn State University this fall. A 2026 graduate of Titusville Area High School, she is the daughter of Jeremy and Tiffany Hamilton.

0009 Hibbard Kaylee — Kaylee Hibbard, a 2026 graduate of Oil City High School, will study Speech-Language Pathology at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is the daughter of Charles Hoobler and Randi Hoobler, and of Arien and Chris Hibbard.

0002 Hilyer Hazel — Hazel Hilyer, a graduate of West Forest Junior Senior High School and the daughter of Daniel and Jennifer Hilyer of Tionesta, will begin her studies in Psychology this fall at West Virginia University.

0008 Hurban Charlotte — Charlotte Hurban will begin her Pre-Physician Assistant studies this fall at the University of Pittsburgh, Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences. She is the daughter of Jessica and Adam Hurban of Meadville and a recent graduate of Penncrest High School.

0007 Jackson Cara — Charlotte Hurban will begin her Pre-Physician Assistant studies this fall at the University of Pittsburgh, Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences. She is the daughter of Jessica and Adam Hurban of Meadville and a recent graduate of Penncrest High School.

0001 Kope Brianna — Brianna Kope of Guys Mills is set to begin her nursing studies at Westminster College this fall. A 2026 graduate of Penncrest High School, she is the daughter of Jill and Ron Kope of Guys Mills.

0000 MacQuarrie Taylor — Taylor MacQuarrie, daughter of Allan MacQuarrie and Teshia MacQuarrie, is a 2026 graduate of Penncrest High School. Her studies at Slippery Rock University will consist of Pre-Physician Assistant and Biology.

0003 McKeel Jayden — Jayden McKeel, a West Forest High School graduate, will begin nursing studies at Pennsylvania Western University at Clarion this fall. Her parents are Albert McKeel Jr. and Heather McKeel.

0002 Monteforte Brynn — Brynn Monteforte, a 2026 graduate of Penncrest High School, is enrolled in the nursing program at La Salle University. She is the daughter of Brenda Hyldahl and Jeremiah Hyldahl.

0001 Neely Bree — Bree Neely is a 2026 graduate of Penncrest High School and the daughter of Brett and Nicole Neely of Townville. Bree will begin studies in Marketing at the University of Pittsburgh School of Business.

0000 Reese Ayla — Ayla Reese is a recent graduate of West Forest High School and the daughter of Tim and Maggie Summerville. This fall, she will pursue studies in Medical Imaging Sciences at Penn West University at Clarion.

To give back to the community, the Titusville Area Hospital Medical Staff has awarded scholarships to local students since 1980. Donations from the medical staff fund the scholarships, and recipients cannot be dependents of medical staff members. Eligible students reside within the service area of Titusville Area Hospital, are pursuing post-high-school training, have been accepted to or are attending an accredited school, demonstrate financial need, and show good moral character. Scholarship application forms are available beginning each January at area high schools or by contacting the Medical Staff Coordinator at the Titusville Area Hospital at: 814-827-8924.
