Titusville Area Hospital (TAH) has recently been recognized as a top hospital for Nurse Communication. This recognition comes from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) survey in which TAH received 5 stars for nurse communication, one of only 529 hospitals nationwide to receive this rating.
This rating is based on data from the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey and reflects how well patients felt their nurses:
- Explained things clearly
- Listened carefully
- Treated them with courtesy and respect
This most recent rating is based on data that was collected October 2023 through September 2024, and released this past August. This rating reflects high patient satisfaction with communication provided by the nursing staff. Only a small number of hospitals have achieved this high of a distinction.
