Titusville Area Hospital Medical Staff Student Scholarships Announced

The Titusville Area Hospital Medical Staff recently awarded a total of $6,500 in scholarship monies to local students.

Logan T. Carll, a 2022 graduate of West Forest High School, is the son of Timothy and Jennifer Carll of Tidioute. Logan will study Business Administration and Information Technology at Clarion University this fall.

Shianne M. Donovan, daughter of Nate and Stephanie Donovan of Pleasantville, is a 2016 graduate of Titusville High School, earned her bachelor’s degree at Slippery Rock in 2020, and is now pursuing a Master of Science Degree in Thiel’s Physician Assistant program. Kamryn M. Gates-Bowersox will study at Penn State Behrend. Kamryn is the daughter of Steve and Katie Bowersox of Centerville and she is a 2022 graduate of Union City High School.

David L. Hauptman will attend The Pennsylvania State University this fall and major in Biology/Pre-Health. David is a 2022 graduate of Titusville High School and the son of Dan and Lori Hauptman of Titusville.

Audrey A. Herman, a 2022 graduate of Titusville Area High School, is the daughter of Jon and Amy Herman of Titusville. Audrey will pursue her studies in Political Science at Dickinson College this fall.

Julia C. Johnson is the daughter of Toby and Norma Johnson of Titusville. Julia is a 2022 Titusville High School graduate and will study Pre-optometry at Gannon University.

Jareb E. McFadden, son of Joseph and Terri McFadden of Rouseville, is a 2022 graduate of Oil City High School. He will study Computer and Information Systems at Robert Morris University this fall.

In an effort to give back to the community, the Titusville Area Hospital Medical Staff has awarded scholarships to area students since 1980. The scholarships are funded by donations from the medical staff, and recipients cannot be dependents of medical staff members. Eligible students are those residing within the service area of Titusville Area Hospital, are pursuing post-high-school training, have been accepted by or attending an accredited school, demonstrate financial need, and show good moral character.

Scholarship application forms are available beginning each January at area High Schools or by contacting the Medical Staff Coordinator at the Titusville Area Hospital 814-827-8924.
