The Titusville Area Hospital Medical Staff recently awarded a total of $5,000 in scholarship monies to local students.
- Ella Beebe, current senior at Maplewood High School, is majoring in Biology this fall at Penn State Behrend. Ella is the daughter of Laura and Paul Beebe.
- Zachary Carll is the son of Jennifer and Timothy Carll and he is graduating from West Forest High School in June. Zachary will pursue a career in Welding at Pennsylvania College of Technology this fall.
- Madeline Johnson is a senior at Titusville High School and the daughter of Norma and Toby Johnson. Madeline will begin her studies this fall in Psychology/Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Gannon University.
- Brianna Jones is attending Slippery Rock University this fall to study Biology. Brianna is a senior at Titusville High School and the daughter of Angela and Ken Loker.
- Cameron Kerr, current senior at Titusville High School, will attend Pennsylvania State University-DuBois this fall for Wildlife Technology. Cameron is the son of Kristen and Shawn Kerr.
In an effort to give back to the community, the Titusville Area Hospital Medical Staff has awarded scholarships to area students since 1980. The scholarships are funded by donations from the medical staff, and recipients cannot be dependents of medical staff members. Eligible students are those residing within the service area of Titusville Area Hospital, are pursuing post-high-school training, have been accepted by or attending an accredited school, demonstrate financial need and show good moral character.
