How do I get a negative test for travel or an event?
You can obtain a COVID-19 Antigen test for travel or event here at the
hospital. The outpatient lab can perform the test without a prescription.
Please call for an appointment time. This test costs $35.00 and requires
ID to register. The results will be posted to "My Patient Portal" or can
be collected from Medical Records in the hospital. For appointments call

How do I protect myself from influenza and COVID-19?
Influenza and COVID-19 are primarily transferred from person to person
through respiratory droplets produced by an infected person’s cough
or sneeze.
In order to best protect yourself, these simple steps can be followed:
- Wash your hands often with soap and water. Be thorough, and especially
wash your hands after being in a public place, or after coughing or sneezing.
- Hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol may be used when soap and water
are not readily available.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
The CDC does recommend wearing a face mask even if you are not sick.
What can I do to limit sharing of any disease?
If you suspect you are ill, with any disease, these simple steps can be followed:
- Stay home if you are sick.
- Cover your mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Immediately wash
your hands afterward with soap and water or hand sanitizer containing
at least 60% alcohol when soap and water are not available.
- Wear a facemask when you are near other people.
- Clean AND disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily.
What should I do if I think I have COVID-19?
Call your primary care physician. They can determine if you need testing
and give you information about testing options.
Where can I get tested?
If you are experiencing non-life threatening symptoms or need to be tested
due to exposure, please use the following processes and test sites:
- Call your primary care physician. Your doctor will assess your symptoms
via phone and will send an order to the hospital. The hospital will contact
you to schedule your test time at the TAH outpatient lab.
- Visit the Titusville Express Care or Meadville Express Care if you do not
have a doctor.
- Patients experiencing severe or life-threatening symptoms should report
to the ED.

the order**
Antigen COVID-19 (rapid) testing is also available for travel/events requiring
negative test results. This test does not require an order but does need
to be scheduled for appointment time. The cost for this test is $35.00
and is not billed to insurance.

can take is to restrict sick emplyees and visitors from commingling with
others in the workforce.
How much does the Laboratory test for COVID-19 Cost?
Titusville Area Hospital is posting the following information in compliance
with the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 247d). Titusville Area Hospital's
charge for a COVID-19 laboratory test is $199.00 and the cash price is
the same at $199.00.
