Twenty-five new in-patient beds were recently delivered to Titusville Area
Hospital (TAH). Thanks to the community and various foundations that have
supported this project, fundraising efforts gathered $345,000.00 of the
$385,000.00 needed for this project. The beds purchased offer state-of-the-art
features for patient comfort. They are outfitted with the latest technology
and patient safety features as well. Replacing the old beds was essential
to offer patients the highest level of care.
Since the implementation of these beds, many of the in-patients have reported
very positive feedback and have been very happy with the added comfort
and other functions. One patient stated, “It is more comfortable
than home”. Lee Clinton, CEO of TAH stated, ”Keeping patients
comfortable and safe is our top priority. The addition of the new beds
has allowed for safer and improved care for all in-patients.”
The board of directors, staff, physicians, and volunteers at TAH sincerely
appreciate the ongoing support of the community and foundations. Because
of generous donors, TAH can continue providing exceptional care for the
families in Titusville and the surrounding communities for generations
to come. Titusville Area Hospital, More than a hospital.
