To register for any of the following, call Community Relations at 814/827-1852, Ext. 548, or e-mail us at tahwebmaster@titusvillehospital.org.   Give us your name, your telephone number, the program name and the date you wish to attend.  For classes with a fee, make checks payable to Titusville Area Hospital.   Fees due at first class unless other arrangements are made.

LAMAZE
Dates:  2 Wednesday sessions
In 2008: Sept. 3 & 10; Oct. 1 & 8; Nov. 5 & 12; Dec. 3 & 10
Time:  6:30 - 9:00 pm (*Cesarean section births are discussed from 9-10 p.m.)
Place:  Titusville Area Hospital
Fee:  $10 per couple due at first class
Registration:  E-mail or call Community Relations to register 827-1852, Ext. 548. Early registration encouraged.
Details:  Breathing and relaxation tips for labor and delivery are taught in this class as well as the signs, symptoms and progression of labor. Information on C-sections is discussed during the second session from 9-10 p.m.*. We recommend mothers and their coaches take this class in the last three months of pregnancy.

TAKING CARE OF BABY (single session)
Single sessions, Held quarter the first Tuesday of the month
Dates in 2008:   November 4th
Time:  6:15 - 9:15 pm
Place:  Titusville Area Hospital
Fee:  Free

Details:  Our nursing staff provides information on various aspects of caring for a newborn and infant that will benefit parents, grandparents and baby-sitters. Topics include bathing, diapering, cord care, circumcision care, bottle and breast-feeding, burping, home safety, immunizations, car seat safety and more. The class includes demonstrations, handouts and sharing of information and experiences. We recommend new parents take this class six weeks before your due date.

"YOUR FIRST HELLO"
Offered by the Genesis Family Center ( www.genesisfamilycenter.org ) in Titusville, this basket of infant products and educational materials is given free of charge to expectant mothers in the community. Call The Genesis Family Center at 827-7928.
